These terms apply when you use coffee.barrelandbloom.uk or buy goods from Barrel & Bloom Coffee. Please read them before placing an order.
1. About us
Barrel & Bloom Coffee is operated by Barrel & Bloom Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17334989. Our registered office is 2nd Floor College House, 17 King Edwards Road, Ruislip, London, United Kingdom, HA4 7AE. You can contact us at sales@barrelandbloom.uk.
2. Using our website
You may use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the website, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or use its content in a way that infringes our or another person's rights.
Our website is hosted by Shopify. Availability may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, security or technical reasons.
3. Products and descriptions
We take reasonable care to describe and display our products accurately. Colours and appearance may vary slightly between screens, and packaging or presentation may change without affecting the product's essential characteristics. Product weights are stated on the relevant product page.
Please read the product information and packaging before use, including any ingredient, allergen, storage and preparation information. If you have a food allergy or dietary concern, contact us before ordering.
4. Orders and our contract with you
When you place an order, you make an offer to buy the goods in your basket. Our order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it. A contract is formed when we send confirmation that the goods have been dispatched, or when we otherwise expressly accept your order.
We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch if, for example, a product is unavailable, payment is not authorised, delivery restrictions apply, we identify suspected fraud or misuse, or there is an obvious pricing or description error. If we cancel after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.
5. Prices, delivery charges and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges and available delivery options are shown before you complete checkout.
You must provide complete and accurate billing, delivery and contact information. Payment is taken using the payment methods offered at checkout. Orders are subject to payment authorisation.
If an obvious pricing error occurs and could reasonably have been recognised as an error, we may cancel the affected order and refund any amount paid.
6. Availability and delivery
All orders are subject to availability. Delivery estimates shown at checkout or in our communications are estimates unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date. We will deliver without undue delay and, unless another time has been agreed, within 30 days after the contract is made.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. If delivery is delayed by an event outside our reasonable control, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of the delay.
7. Risk and ownership
Goods become your responsibility when they are delivered to you, or to a person you nominate to receive them. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.
8. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Your cancellation and return rights are explained in our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms or that policy limits your statutory rights, including rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Promotions and discount codes
Promotions and discount codes are subject to any additional terms shown with the offer. Unless stated otherwise, they cannot be exchanged for cash, combined with another promotion or applied retrospectively. We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there is an error, fraud or misuse, without affecting orders we have already accepted where the law requires us to honour them.
10. Intellectual property
The website and its content, including names, branding, text, graphics and images, are owned by or licensed to Barrel & Bloom Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use, but you must not reproduce, distribute, modify or exploit it without permission.
11. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses where you buy as a consumer.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
12. Privacy
We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Shopify and our payment, delivery and fulfilment providers may process information as necessary to provide the website and complete your order.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when your order is accepted will apply to that order. We will display the date of the latest update at the top of this page.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you also retain any mandatory protections available under the law where you live and may bring proceedings in your local courts. Otherwise, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
If you have a complaint, please contact sales@barrelandbloom.uk and we will try to resolve it promptly.
15. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right. No person other than you and Barrel & Bloom Ltd has a right to enforce these terms.
